Wadasitikanda
Wadasiti – Mountain (Wadasiti Kanda) is situated in Kataragama which is about 2500 feet high and 4Km from south-east of Kataragama. According to the history the God Katargama had lived in this mountain long ago and had thrown an arrow from there where the Kataragama Maha Devalaya was built on later.A holistic place where the god Katharagama lived some years ago lose to Thissamaharama. Many devotees visit this place specially for blessings and some for pleasure as it is situated in a top of a high mountain.
